Singapore Vacation.

My son and daughter are excited over the upcoming Singapore vacation.  My daughter in particular has asked for the vacation in view of her completing her std X and there would be no vacations until her admission to Engineering college two years down the line.

UPCOMING TRIP

Excited, yes, all of us, just like kids, and including the kids of the upcoming north India trip....Agra, Dehradun, Mussorie, Nainital, Delhi and back.

The most important cause of this excitement is (1) Govind Pashu Vihar National Park and (2) Corbett National Park. We are just hopeful that the safari does not turn out to be a damp squib. In god we trust and raring to go.

IT HAS BEEN A LONG TIME SINCE THE LAST POST

It has been a long time, since my last post. Not that I have been extremely busy, to some extent, had been lazy.

The last few days have been severe on my health. The infection recurring, has left me weak and hopefully will see an end to the problem in the next few days, thanks to Dr. Kirit Parikh, on whom we have total trust.

Manu shall now be going to std VIII and Guruprasad shall be in Std. I. How time flies ?

Satish and Neetu are keen on a garment shop, Divya undecided and me not interested in setting up a garment shop. This kind of business may give us only headache, and not our kind of stuff to be in. Software should be ideal, with lower investment and also justice to the educational qualification. No ideas from Suresh and akka.

The holiday is also being looked forward to by the kids eagerly. They deserve one after a long time.

Manu taking care of herself in the education is one good thing. She should learn to take care of herself and be more independent and develop her individuality.

The telangana issue is another chewing gum, no matter how much you chew, it just does not get over. The issue if put an end, would be the best for business and education point of view. I really wonder, how these kids kill themselves for Telanagana. I trust it is just emotional and mass hysteria being stirred up by these politicians. Every politician from Telangana or Andhra is selfish for his career advancement.

Well I shall post more from now on ........ fingers crossed,

Demise of YSR

YSR's demise was sudden and unfortunate. It has left a power void in the State Congress and shall see a lot of infighting to fill that void. He held the flock together, which shall not be so from now.

On the other hand, the stage for another generation of DYNASTY (Nasty...) rule is being set. Such fools we are, that we do not see the qualities, capabilities or educational qualifications of a person, who is expected to lead us.....typical sycophancy and blind adulation.

Got to see, how the centre reacts to the situation. Atleast the centre should put up a candidate in their larger interest for ensuring power in the next elections.

Ashta Vinayak Trip

What started as a small trip of 3 days at Pune to cover the Ashta Vinayaks (Swayambhu) got converted into a 10 day vacation to cover Pandarpur (or is it Pandaripur - as I remember from my grandfather), Tuljapur, Kolhapur, Mahabaleshwar, Ghanagapur. Just before we started, Srikant Gautam suggested us begin the trip by visiting Rejinthal, Zaheerabad, Bidar Road. It was a good temple and we thus began on an auspicious note.

We have started at 0400 hrs today the 26th April, 2009, after hiring the services of a driver for this long road journey - our first one for almost 2000 km road trip (minimum). Camping at Pandarpur (night halt), I make this blog and we about to witness the glory of the lord Krishna as we plan to have a darshan in about 30 mins.

The hotel SHAMIANA is not all that great, but enough to provide us with the amenities for a night halt. I shall in my next blog provide the contact numbers of hotel Shamiana as I could not find the same on the internet when I tried to make a booking over phone.

I am going to post pictures as well in the next blogs.

It's been quite some time

It's been quite some time since returning to blog my opinions. A lot of things have happened, best of them being " No more paying the EMI's for ICICI bank towards housing loan", now the house is truly Ours.

Been on couple of trips as well. Kallur, Mantralayam on one of the trips and Srisailam and Ishtakamerswari on the second.

My camera is also back to me and I had missed it quite badly. Hence no photos guys.

Changed my mobile to E71. Disappointed with the performance / price ratio. Was not expecting this out of NOKIA E71.

Manu has bagged 3 medals this academic year.
a. Science project - 2nd prize
b. Honours certificate
c. SAP (Sisters of St. Ann's Providence) for community service.

Chintu has bagged 1 certificate for being the best allrounder for LKG.

Now we are waiting for the Pune trip to happen. Should I buy the Tripod or make one myself ?

I should also checkout what's happening on the HPC front.
