The terrorism at Mumbai was just beyond any sane description. Yet, we tolerate our damned politicians, who are worser by any standards with their double talks, lack of sensitive approach and clearly lacking humanity.
The Government also needs to pull up its socks and get down to work, rather than worrying on how to please the minority votebanks. They are too certain to get into power for yet another session if they take the right action, promptly and when the iron is hot. The government need to take advice from Israel and such countries who do not bow down to black mailing and do not tolerate terrorism on their soil. It is time the government adopt an attitude - Both of your eyes for one of my eye and your jaw for my tooth.
We as general public also need to ascertain that the incident is not erased from our memory, until justice is done and truly. We have lost young officers, innocent people and for what reason ? They ARE our brothers, sisters, children and most importantly INDIANS.
I for one, shall take a step by getting enrolled in the voter list and ensure I get a voter ID Card, even if I have to take the RTI route to get one. I shall also teach one child and ensure education for the less previlaged. I shall actively encourage my children to join the armed services and shall begin by enrolling them in NSS or NCC.
This is I, when you join me, it will be WE and everyone chips in their mite, it shall be US for a better tomorrow.
May the souls of our beloved ones, rest in peace.
